Our lives here on earth are like a ship sailing on the water. What happens when the water gets in the ship? The ship sinks. But when it floats on top of that water, it’s fine.
That’s how we’re meant to live our lives here on earth. We’re to be in the world but not of it. We’re not to let the water of the world come into our ships, these godly vessels that God has given us. Why? Because it will sink you.
. One way or the other, his desire and plan is to sink you.
The word of God says in 1 John 3:7-8:
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. Th e reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
